The Region of Shumen
The Municipality of Shumen is located in the central part of the northeastern Bulgaria. The community administrative center is the city of Shumen. It is situated in the heart of the municipality and is an ancient city with more than 3200 years of history. Throughout the centuries Shumen has united the priceless heritage of the Roman, Thracian, and Bulgarian cultures. Through years Shumen has established itself as a cultural and educational center of the North-East Bulgaria. The unique history, the ecological environment and the important geographical location are among the main reasons for the fast development of the region. Various museums, architectural monuments, art galleries are located in the city.

Industrial Park Shumen
The efforts of the private partner and The Municipality of Shumen have been united by founding a joint-venture company “Industrial Park Shumen” A.D., which will create the industrial, trading and logistic zone on 2 400 000 m² of land. The new industrial park in Shumen is to be completed in three stages. At present, the infrastructure of the first stage is completed. Moreover, Subzone A of the industrial park has already hosted its first investors, who have at their disposal industrial plots supplied with the following internal and surrounding infrastructure: road access, railway access, electricity supply, sewerage, gas supply, optic cables, and water supply. All the terrains will be ready and fully adapted for fast business development.
